Preventive Maintenance Program
Preventive Maintenance
#1 Important factor in keeping your system clean and in optimal operating condition.
Just as a car requires a tune-up, so does your heating and air conditioning system.
You spend thousands on a new system.
You pay extra for high-efficiency
If you decide not to get on a preventative maintenance plan then at least make sure you check your furnace filter at least every 3 months.
If it needs to be replaced, don't wait.
A dirty filter can lead to a dirty coil which can lead to an inefficient system.
It can also cause problems that will lead to major repair costs.
Spend a little now or spend a lot later.
Our PMP Program (Preventive-Maintenance Program)
Our technician will come out twice per year replace or clean your filter Check all electrical connections Check the refrigerant charge Check the components Check all accessible ducting for leakage.
An added bonus
Any service repair calls will be 1st priority over non-PMP members.
The cost of our residential PMP program is $198.00 per year for one heating and AC system.
That's less than .54 cents a day.
If you do not change or clean your filters at least once or twice per year, it will cause the evaporative cooling coil to become dirty and eventually the airflow will be obstructed by soot which will cause the system to shut down.
Then, you will need to have the evap. coil cleaned which runs anywhere from $225.00 up to $550.00 depending on the size of the coil and the location such as garage, closet or attic. Buy a new system, and get on the maintenance program. It cost nothing compared to the cost of the new system you just installed.
A UV light is also a great way to help keep your system clean. They run anywhere from $150.00 to $500.00 depending on the brand and type.
I don't believe in cleaning flex ducting in a home.. It is a waste of your money. It can rip the inner liner of the duct and they can not reach all ducts in most cases.
